Smoked Gouda Grits
Ingredients
- 1 cup grits - stone ground coarse cornmeal (in baking aisle)
- 4 cups liquid (combo of milk, heavy whipping cream, water)
- 1 1/2 tsp salt
- Pepper
- About 4 oz Smoked Gouda
Total 1425 cal
Instructions
- Boil liquid and salt
- Whisk in grits
- Turn heat to low
- Cook for 20-25 mins stirring every 3-4 mins
- Add cheese and pepper to taste
