Smoked Tofu
Ingredients
- 2 bricks extra firm tofu
Brine:
- 1/3 cup sriracha
- 1/3 cup soy sauce
- 1/3 cup worchestershire sauce
- 1/2 tsp of liquid smoke optional if baking
Total 930 cal
Instructions
- Press tofu to remove water
- Cut tofu into 1/2 inch steaks
- Marinate 4 hours or overnight
- Smoke 45 minutes at 250F or grill or bake on oiled cookie sheet 20 minutes at 350F, glazing with remaining liquid
Serving Suggestion
- Serve on toasted sourdough bread with mayo, shredded carrots, and pickles
