- 1 large onion finely diced
- Vegetable oil
- 2 Beyond Meat Burger Patties (http://beyondmeat.com/products/view/beyond-burger)
- Burger buns
- Sliced tomato
- Yellow mustard
- 2 slices of vegan cheese
- 2 Tbsp vegan mayo
- 1 Tbsp ketchup
- 2 tsp relish
- 1 tsp white sugar
- 1 tsp white vinegar
- Caramelize the onions low and slow for 15-20 mins
- Toast burger buns in pan
- In a small bowl mix sauce ingredients
- Heat a pan to medium-high heat. Brown patty for 3 minutes on one side, salt and pepper then spread mustard on the opposite side.
- Flip the patty, add cheese on top, brown patty for 3 minutes. Remove from heat. Do not overcook.
- To assemble, add the sauce on both insides of your bun, then layer lettuce, tomato, patty, onions, and pickles.
